It is no great secret that we British love a good cup of tea. It has been the symbol of polite society for centuries, with a whole tradition and meal time of its own 'high tea'.

Ingredients
½ cup milk
2 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons oil
½ cup self-rising flour
2 tablespoons ground almonds
1 teaspoon green tea powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup blueberries
Icing
1 cup whipping cream
¾ cup sugar
1 cup blueberries
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Grease the baking pan
Mix the milk, sugar, maple syrup and oil in a pan on the cooker.
Sift the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix in the contents of the pan when fully mixed together.
Then whisk until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake the cake for around 15 minutes until golden brown.
Add icing when the cake is cool.
Tea Cocktails
Royal Tea
Ingredients:
• 2 parts Gin
• 2 parts brewed and chilled Earl Gray Tea
• Squeeze of lemon juice
• Spoonful of sugar
• lime wheels for garnish
Instructions:
Pour all the ingredients into a glass, stir well, garnish with lime - for extra glamour crush some ice, add to the mix and enjoy!
Iced Tea Drinks
Apple & Honey Iced Tea
Ingredients:
• 3 cups water, boiling
• 4 tea bags
• 1/3 cup honey
• 3 cups apple juice
•
Preparation:
Steep tea bags in hot water for 5 minutes. Strain out tea bags, and stir in honey and juice. Mix until honey is dissolved. Chill and serve over ice.
Serves 6-8
